The Hidden Truth Behind Dental Diseases

Modern dentistry is based on the supposition that bacteria in the mouth are the primary cause of tooth decay and gum disease. We are urged to brush and floss our teeth, use mouthwashes, and get our teeth cleaned to maintain dental health. In spite of this, most modern people get cavities regularly, develop crooked teeth, need to have their wisdom teeth removed, and wind up with gum disease, implants, and dentures. 

We assume all of this is normal. But what if it is not?

A dentist named Weston Price didn't believe these problems were inevitable. He believed that they were caused by nutritional deficiencies. To prove his hypothesis, he visited six of the seven continents during the 1930s, studying the teeth, diets, and general health of native people living on traditional diets versus people living on modern processed foods. In every case, he found that Indigenous people seldom had dental problems, while all of the people living on modern processed foods did suffer from dental disease.
