I extracted this from my class Holistic Approach to Learning Problems as a shorter video to teach the tutoring method I learned in my experimental class on learning and teaching. When children fail to master basic skills such as reading and math they find it increasingly difficult to keep up in school. These methods were created by the educator Grant Von Harrison to prevent children from falling behind and failing in school. He proved these techniques worked; I've used them and found they work, too. If we really wanted to "leave no child behind" we'd use these methods to help them.
