Nature’s Sunshine Products (NSP)

Nature’s Sunshine was the first company to commercially encapsulate herbs and has been a pioneer and leader in quality control in the herb industry. Their vice-president in charge of quality control, Lynda Hammons won’t compromise the quality of NSP products in the slightest. NSP tests, tests and retests every ingredient and finished product they manufacture. They test for microbial and chemical contamination and to make sure that the plant material is from the right plant, is the right plant part and has the right profile of constituents (meaning it was properly grown and harvested).

Lynda Hammons also personally audits venders that supply to NSP to make sure that their facilities are clean and operating to NSP standards. This includes venders in China that supply raw materials for their Chinese herb line. Products coming out of China are frequently contaminated with pesticides and heavy metals. You will simply not find any product manufactured to a higher standard of quality than NSP.

Nature’s Sunshine has recently opened the Hughes Research Center, in honor of the Hughes family that started the company. They are doing primary research to develop new and innovative herbal and nutritional products.
