Anger can be a destructive influence in our lives if we don't know how to manage it. It can damage our relationships and even cause physical health problems. But anger isn't all bad. It does have a useful purpose in our lives, which is to help us set personal boundaries.
In this webinar, Steven explains the concept of personal boundaries and how they relate to anger. He talks about the different shades or types of anger, including rage, frustration, resentment and hatred. He also discusses the difference between venting anger and suppressing anger and why both are equally dysfunctional.
The program includes physical suggestions for reducing anger such as detoxifying the liver and balancing blood sugar and mental and emotional tools for reducing excessive anger. He introduces the principles of nonviolent communication and how compassion and empathy can help to overcome anger.
