The moods we experience are signaled by the body's various chemical messengers. There are four chemical messengers associated with feelings of happiness, love, motivation, and well-being. They are serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, and oxytocin. Other chemical messengers provide feelings of excitement or calm, such as norepinephrine and GABA, but in this webinar, we're going to focus on these four, which have been labeled the happiness chemicals.
While there are chemical substances that affect these neurotransmitters, we're not going to suggest you try to artificially create happiness using chemicals. Trying to induce happiness using chemicals is an attempt to short-circuit nature and ultimately leads to problems like addiction and dependence, often creating a downward spiral of unhappiness.
People need to understand that these chemicals are naturally released in our brains when we engage in constructive and healthy activities. So, by understanding what activities and behaviors cause these chemicals to be released we can take action to create greater happiness and positive feelings in life. So, in this webinar we're going to discuss these four chemical messangers and how we can naturally enhance them. Join us and learn how to deliberately create more happy and positive feelings in your life.
